  1. Well, in that case, we could put few Lionhearts against us - he builds a small castle, but still - he is a good opponent. Especially if you give him more gold, as he would attack you with catapults and heavy armored units pretty early.
  2. Hey, guys, I meant to ask this one question, to hear what you think. I do realize we were speaking about these stuff before in another topic, but that was the tread for a specific treat. This time I want to ask you, what you think about what should someone do while buying something on internet regarding his\her security. For example, I use Avast Free antivirus, and now and then I clean the PC using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Emsisoft Emergency Kit, and I tend not to visit untrusted websites, but still - I'm not the only one using this computer. What are the exact dangers on the internet that might do us some harm, when we want to pay something online? Are those mostly untrusted websites that want to misuse the information we give them, and are viruses that try to steal our credit card info a relatively common as well? What do you think that one should do, in order to buy things on internet more safely, and not worrying too much if he has some malware on his computer, that might steal those important information? I believe I am the one who is the most skeptical about this matter here. :) The reason I am asking this, is because I was thinking this way: if I buy Stronghold Crusader 2 from Steam, or at any other reliable place, am I still in danger, and how much? What do you think - should someone who buys stuff online use a paid version of antivirus instead of free, and how much would that help? How much do you guys pay for your security (if you don't think it wouldn't be smart to write on internet what protection you use, you don't have to tell me that. Or you can tell me that over personal message)? Regards!
  3. That's nice to hear, somebody's going to have enjoy. :)
  4. Hmm, and how about this thing..? To switch the keeps that would be meant for one of us, and the one keep which makes that problem to the AI? Maybe that could work? If you don't make it till tomorrow, it wouldn't be a big deal - we could play another map, or maybe - to play the same map ignoring the problem.
  5. Perhaps you could connect to internet in a different way, and install that driver? I know that's almost certainly something that crossed your mind as well, though...
  6. OK, we can play all together some other time as well. Speaking about this event - I shall leave it scheduled for Sunday, and I hope Lord Vetka, and somebody else would be able to play that day. If there would be only two of us, it would be interesting as well, but I do hope Chris made it to install Windows Vista, and Stronghold Crusader.
  7. Maybe we could be able to play today? It would be great if all three of us could play.
  8. Cool, that's why I love that they kept assassins in Crusader 2. :) They are keeping that element of surprise, and they, besides slaves as well I'd say, are few elements of the game that are making the game less predictible, which is really great! Also, it is really great when you manage to surprise your over-confident oponent. :) I'm sure this was really fun game to you, and I'm happy you have defeated your way more powerful enemy. :) Besides that, to guys such as Chris and I, this might be even more interesting, as we both love "Lord of the Ring" - we can easily relate. :)
  9. Wow, this looks really great now! As soon as another file is submitted, I shall let you know if I see the "new" tag.
  10. Great, I'm glad to hear that! :) Also, I have tried the new Vetka's map - it really great! AI lords across the river have more than enough space to build great castles, while we would have somewhat less space, but still - just as much as we need. Vetka did great job with that new map. :)
  11. Thanks, Mathew! I wasn't checking if that is the same, but it should be, and it can make a lot of things way easier. :) One wouldn't have to retype everything - he could just copy/paste it.
  12. If you are facing any problems with GameRanger, this is how you can play Stronghold Crusader in multiplayer with no such multiplayer client. It is possible to play Crusader without GameRanger using with Internet TCP/IP Connection for DirectPlay (no application needed - it all works directly from the game), although this way it will be harder for you to find some opponents. This is what you should do (and your friends which you would like to play with): load the game go to MULTIPLAYER GAME; the one who wants to be the host should type his IP address and send it to others - the he can click HOST (have a look at the picture below); others should type the IP address of the host, and click JOIN; after the game of the host has been found, click JOIN again; then you can choose a map and everything, and start the game. If you are not finding the game being hosted by your friend, then your, or hosts Stronghold Crusader game is being blocked by firewall, so you should unblock it. Also, I believe it would be the best for host to be the one with best internet connection - I don't know exactly how it works. If you want to find more players to play with, I would suggest to you find players on community forums like this one.
  13. That's great to hear! I hope you'll make it, and if you do, I hope we shall be able to play it soon. :)
  14. It is not the most important thing, I just taught you did fix it, and I wanted to let you know that it worked for me today. Right now I am always looking at dates - by the date I can know if a new file has been submitted, so it's really not a top priority (at least not to me). :)
  15. I just meant to let you know. Now when Vetka submitted his new Extreme map, and when I entered downloads central, I could see the "new" tag now. :)
  16. I'm glad to hear that! :) That map looks great from the minimap - I think we should play that new map. :)
  17. Hehe, indeed! Good luck, it looks like it's gonna be a good fight. :)
  18. Those are nice to hear! By the way, have they said anything about bringing in laddermen or siege towers? This is pretty bad how assassins are the only unit that can be open a gate, or to climb enemy walls without destroying anything. Ladermen were indeed taking part in almost any medieval siege, I guess.
