Off topic - I wish that shields in Stronghold Crusader 1 cause crashes, so that no one would use them. :D

By the way, if there are enough players, how about us playing against Bradley? Only, if we did it that way, I would want Bradley not to spare our lives - it is logical that if Bradley wants to win, he must not let us grow stronger. Also, Bradley did kill Chris and me once, so I deserve a chance to pay my debt. :) I'm just kidding about that - it is not about paying some debt, of course.

So, I had played a little with blogspot, and this is what I've done so far. http://sh-nation.blogspot.com/ I hope you'll like it. This way each would be able to enter his email address (which doesn't have to be a gmail account, or doesn't have to be related to google+). Each time a moderator/administrator posts a new article there, you would get an email notification. Also, it has the most important links to Stronghold Nation website, the Blog page, and the About Us (Stronghold Nation) page. If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell.

If it is so, it is a nice idea. Although I hope that those crashes in multiplayer do no occur anymore? On the other hand, if they do occur, players do have the autosave, but still - that's not it. On the other hand, as long as competitors think the same way Nigel does, it should be a great fun. :) I would join it as well if I had my own copy! The most important thing here is to have fun.

Well, seeing Crusader 2, and Stronghold 3, I can only say that Crusader 2 is a better version of Stronghold 3 - just like Crusader 1 is a better version of Stronghold 1. I say "better", but by that I mean - it has more options, and one can see that Crusader 1 (2) has some options that were not put into Stronghold 1 (3), and of course - less bugs. I don't want to say Stronghold 1 is better than Crusader or vice versa - most of us have our own opinions, but I hope you all understand what I mean to say. Maybe it would be better if I said "enhanced version" or something like that. For now I am finishing the campaigns - first I started the economic campaign, and I shall start military campaign later. After my Stronghold 3 skills improve I shall start with other custom missions - starting with the one you suggested. :) Speaking of a war scenario - that does sound interesting. Only I should finish those campaigns first, and some other custom scenarios as well. Than it will be more interesting. :)

And I shall say - everything what Vetka says! :) I'm kidding a little, but I think we are all grateful to you for all this effort - this is indeed a pleasant place. Thanks you for that! :)

Hey, guys, I just meant to let you know I did buy Stronghold 3. :) So far I like it, after I would finish the campaigns, I would see other scenarios made for this game to play them as well, and I may play some multiplayer games. I have noticed that it is a lot like Crusader 2 - many stuff that were introduced in Crusader 2 were in fact introduced in Stronghold 3, so I can say that this way I will prepare myself for Crusader 2 as well. I know many people dislike this game, so I cannot be disappointed, or something like that - I don't have high expectations. :) Also, I didn't pay it much. Besides those, I hope I could play a multiplayer game now and then - I do have a feeling that it is possible to find some opponents. Also, it is sad that they gave up this game, and that they had left some stuff unfinished... There are still some bugs, and the game can freeze now and than (so I heard, but it hasn't happened to me yet). Also, speaking about those bugs, such as troops being stuck - I agree this is pretty bad thing, but I could tell that we all know how Crusader 1 also has some similar bugs (an archer being stuck at crenelation wall). Still, it is the fact that Stronghold 3 has more bugs, but like I said - I got the game with no high expectations. Everything good I notice while playing this game is a bonus to me. :) I shall get Crusader 2 as well, but right now it is too expensive for me. It's not that it means I should have spared some money for Crusader 2 - that is not my problem, I do have the money now (if that is what Vetka meant), it's just that anything above 20-30 euro is too much for Crusader 2 to me. I shall wait until some sale, or something. Also it would be the best if those guys in my town get the boxed version, so I could buy it there, just like I got Stronghold 3 there. :) So, here it is! :cool:

In fact, Blogspot works in similar way as Google+. It is one of Google's services, and if you are logged into your Gmail account, if you visit http://www.blogger.com, you will log in automatically. I do know about facebook page, but still, if someone wants to follow us on facebook he needs to have a facebook account. Website on blogspot is a blog, and one doesn't need to register anywhere to follow it. He would only need an email account. :) I am sending you my blogspot website, so you could see how it can look like. :)

Hi, I wanted to suggest that we may use Blogspot instead of Google+ for our announcements, or for, say, our backup. The good sides about it is that is easily customizable, it can be done in a way that it can resemble to this website; one can subscribe to Blogspot website, so he/she would receive an email notification each time one of administrators makes a new post there. A already have a Blogspot website, so I have some experience with it. Also, it is Google's service just like Google+. Also, many people avoid to have Google+. I'm not saying that Google+ is not good enough and that we need to go to Blogspot, I am only showing another option. :)

Hmm, that shall be the challenge number one. :) I mean, one has no resources there. Still, it is possible to win against rat, while against another opponents who use catapults - it would be way more difficult. I am going to try that. If I face a problem, I may call someone from here to aid. :) We could try to win that one together in multiplayer.

Perhaps it could be the best if we had only few, say three, colors could be better. I mean, color for administrators, color for moderators, and color for all other members..

Now you gave me a challenge! :) I am going to win the Mother of all Wars without losing Sultan. At least, that is my plan now. :) I can see that was an exciting battle! Yeah, Wazir is pretty strong AI lord. Perhaps one of the strongest as well. The only downside of his castle is that his bakeries are exposed to fire, but since Frederick doesn't put enemy buildings to fire, I am not surprised he survived that. He is a stronger version of Caliph to me. :) Emir and Wazir build massive armies, they are both strong if you give them money in beginning. In mission 77. Wall of Death, Emir killed me after I completed my castle, and when I had my archers on my walls and towers, and while I was training swordsmen as well. He wiped out my archers using horse archers, and than his swordsmen came, and they overwhelmed my swordsmen inside my castle, after what my lord was killed as well. That was a battle for remembering - I was killed by Emir just like a human would do. :) Now you gave me another challenge - the one with the Rat! And, speaking about Snake - that doesn't surprise me; he build what he needs pretty quickly, and than he starts sending his catapults to destroy your walls. Could you tell me what are your game settings? How much gold do you give them?

Hmm, today I learned something new. :) I didn't know what happened to Philip. Or at least I don't remember reading much about him, but speaking of his character in Crusader 1, I think he is made too weak, and I find it too unjust to him. I mean, he should be having at least a little bit better tactics that Pig for example, but instead of that he uses spearmen, and his castle is not an impressive one either.

Wow, this is a great map indeed! With maps like this you are really tempering anyone to buy Crusader 2 as soon as possible! :)

Yes, I believe we both have Windows 7, mine is Windows 7 Professional. Also, I think it is hardly possible that he deleted the (un)installer by himself, as it is quite hidden, and it's really hard to be found there. Maybe it has to do something with the discs themselves, but there shouldn't be any difference though.

This one I found by finding Stronghold 1 uninstall file, and this one was in a similar place. If you want to test it online, we could do it today if you want. Still, I remember I did think I could mess with .exe files to change have both, HD and non-HD version, but I did have some problems. In multiplayer I had problems just like I had HD version (version incompatibility). We can try it, to see if it works, I would be online. If what you did didn't work, I guess that's what needs to be done.

As far as I know, this doesn't happen. I mean, I played only few games recently, and I haven't noticed such behavior. Only I believe that each time I got killed in a multiplayer game, I was the last one, but I heard none speaking about what you described. I must also say that I am new to Stronghold 2 multiplayer. :)

Found it! :) It is located inside this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{8C3727F2-8E37-49E4-820C-03B1677F53B6} This is for Stronghold Crusader Extreme. I hope Vetka should be able to find it in the same, or at least in similar folder. The file is called setup.exe. If that file is not at this location, it could be inside another folder under: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information The file isn't hidden, but it isn't in Crusader Extreme installation folder. I found similar file for Stronghold 1 in similar folder first, and that's how I assumed it could be somewhere here.

I am sorry, I offered Lord Vetka that kind of assistance as I forgot that part of not sending ANY files. Sorry again! Also, I hope you don't look at me as on someone who tries to promote piracy, use piracy, or anything like that. I do own those Stronghold games I play. I do admit though that I was complaining how Firefly only sells HD versions of Stronghold 1 and Crusader 1 :) , even though non-HD versions have many better sides (although I do like the fact of being able to play in different resolutions without stretching the screen), and most of players at GameRanger still play non-HD versions. Once again, I am sorry, and I hope we are still able to help Vetka in another way. :)

I do realize that, but what I am assuming is that this file should be somewhere on Lord Vetkas PC... Also, I am assuming that Lord Vetka may not have that file only because something went wrong during the patching process. Because of this, the only thing that is coming to my mind is that he could re-patch the game, so he could get that needed file, or whatever it is, or, if that doesn't work - he would have to get this file from someone else. I am sure he would be told the same thing at FireFly forum, but the only problem there is that place is pretty much inactive right now. I had similar problem with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Dominion Wars. I was unable to uninstall the game from my PC in any way I could think of, and the only thing that I needed in fact was that uninstall file which, by some mistake, wasn't copied to my hard drive during installation. Luckily, when I figured out that this file being missing might be the problem, I asked my friend who also recommended me the game to send me his uninstall file. I put it where it was supposed to be, and than I was able to uninstall the game from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS (I had Windows XP back than). Also, I wouldn't call piracy simply by "copying", that ain't that easy. :) I could send all my files of some of my games to someone, but that way the game wouldn't work to the one I gave the files to. I would only try to find the missing file, and send it to him - without modifying anything. Still, I do realize that they made that up in the way so they would be sure that no one would send any illegal item to anyone. It was easier to say "DO NOT COPY ANYTHING", although copying files itself doesn't help to anyone. Anyway, I hope that re-patching Crusader HD would help.
