Hey, guys, I'm sorry I wrote nothing till now.. I will not be able to come when planed, so if you guys want to play, feel free to start without me. I'm going to be about one hour late. I stayed at work longer than I expected. :( ADDITION: I wanted to let you know earlier, but I have only short five minutes breaks, and during those I don't make it to do almost anything.

I'm glad to hear that! Well, I think it was slow on both parts, because I did set it up too easy. Also, my idea was to play a normal game with computer advantage, but it is possible that I forgot to give AI lords the advantage. :/ Maybe I did not forget that, I'm not quite sure. I think that too! Of course, if one more person wants to join the game, we could give them 40000 gold I think.

We play another one tomorrow. :) Sorry, I wasn't clear about that - I added that to my previous message now. I have created another event for that game.

Vetka and I played a nice game yesterday. We do play to play another one tomorrow, but giving the AI lords more gold, because with 4000 they were not as strong as we expected. On the other hand, this is what happened when I gave them 20000 gold. :) Vetka and I fought against two Sultans, Lionheart, Wolf, Caliph and Saladin. Today I tried to fight against similar alliance: only I fought against three Lionhearts, Sultan, Wolf and Caliph, and in alliance with Snake. This was the outcome - although I didn't finish the game. I am sure I will do better with human ally. :)

That does sound interesting! We could try that. Do you want to try that now (I know you said you have work to do). I would find some map where you would be protected by my stronghold and troops, and you could be behind.

What I meant to ask is - do we need to produce as much bread as possible (in that case we wouldn't have to save that bread), or we need to gather the bread (in that case we would need to have as much bread as possible in our granaries). From your answer I did realize that it is the second case - we need to have the bread in the granary. :)

Well, do can play Extreme as well! Only I think that none of those two is working to Chris right now. On the other hand, if you were able to play, it would be better to play an Extreme game, than not to play. That way you don't have to reinstall the game, and Extreme is almost the same as Crusader. We can play Extreme without outposts and using powers. :)

I will join this contest. By the way, until when is it open? :) ADDITION: Do we need to produce bread, or we need to gather the bread?

I'm sorry for asking this - I believe you already wrote that somewhere... You cannot install the older one, and the reason for that is your older CD being damaged or something like that? If you did write about that, could you give me the link to that topic, so I wouldn't be asking questions you already answered? :)

I taught you were able to play HD version... How about Stronghold 1? I really taught how Crusader is compatible with Windows 7. :/ Well, if that's so, I am never switching to Windows 8 or Windows 9 (which is going to be released next). Or I could try installing some version of Windows 8 or 9 (if I have to), see if Crusader works (without entering the code), and if not - back to Windows 7. :D

You mean, you can run it, but only HD version? Or you cannot run it at all? :(

I came to tell about one really interesting game I had yesterday! One human ally and I fought against AI lords. It was Close Encounters map, and the settings were Crusader game, computer advantage (giving them 4000 gold). This is how we were positioned - I put Saladin in the place where my ally was, and we fought against all others. Just as the fighting began, it was relatively hard, but it didn't seem to be a hard game. I made it to enclose my castle, and I did have several towers to defend from catapults, and I had archers on those towers as well. At some moment, those attacks became stronger, and just after I tough I was safe, they started attacking me with greater armies. At some moments whole one side of my castle was destroyed - the towers and the large gatehouse at the north-east part of my castle were destroyed. After that I called my ally to help me - he made it to kill Rat, and he was fighting the Lionheart north of him, while all others were attacking me. He sent his horse archers to help me. After some time we made it to repel those attack, and he also sent some catapults, and he destroyed some parts of Caliphs castle. He also sent me stone, and some gold, and that helped me to recover. Soon after that I had my towers with mangonels up, destroying enemy catapults and trebuchets, and I had more crossbowmen this time. Soon I took down Caliph with a small crossbowmen and swordsmen army (his castle was still damaged after my allies attacks). Later I went after Lionheart north of Caliph, and Wolf was the one who fell next. At some moment my ally made it to kill Lionheart north of him - I also helped him in his final attack with my horse archers. After him, we killed the last our enemy, and won the fight! It was really an exciting fight!

Oh, I took a pic of them all but the red - the most important one. :) It's a white crest with red dragon on it - I will post a picture of it as well. I know I was talking about using golden color, but later I taught it will be better to use white instead of gold. This way it stays in that bright Stronghold 2 spirit. :) ADDITION: I have added the red. Also, I haven't forgot what you asked me to do with another Welsh shield. I hope I'll do that tomorrow.

I am happy to tell you - I have passed my exam today. :D I should start preparing for another one soon, but for now I am free to spend some with Stronghold, and you guys. :) I will also be able to create those crests for Stronghold 2 we were speaking about. :) By the way, I would suggest this tread to be sticky. ;)

"Share Your Project" forum has gone because when someone makes a Stronghold 2 map for example, he shares it at Stronghold 2 forum. For this reason, my Stronghold Crusader faces and shields, and Stronghold 2 crests were the only two topic there, and because of that I asked Chris to move back those two topics to Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold 2 forums. There those will be more visible. The reason why I think that your asking for testing map will be more easily noticed up there, at Stronghold 2 forum. :)

I hope I would be able to play-test the map, but nothing before the exam. :( Chris, by the way - maybe we should rename "Volunteer Work". I taught this forum was only for "Want to offer your services as a volunteer". Maybe it's just me, I don't know. :) Besides that, I think that play-testing requests should be at the same place where we present our new maps to the community. Those are just my suggestions - you know best. :)

Welcome, @Nigel, we're glad you found us! Since you liked Stronghold Knights, I am sure you will like this community as well!

Same for me - I will wait for some time to hear some first impressions. It's not a cheap game, and I can't afford myself to waste that much money.
