What Would You Change for the Existing Ai?

Hi All!

The SH2 Kingmaker AI all give us some good fun, however they leave a lot to be desired in terms of economy and unit choices, having been designed for small maps.

Apart from the King and the Hawk not attacking properly, what would you change for a given character, or all of them, in order to make their experience better?

Lady Seren needs a pig farm. If you start at freeman rank it takes her ages to rank up since she relies entirely on her granary to provide honour. This means any AI lord will rush her down before she can defend herself. 

There's also a problem with the Bull's castle design. If the game starts at freeman rank he will accidentally block himself from building his mercenary post by placing his moat wrong.

Also Edwin for some reason builds a mercenary post which he never uses. Given his character it might make sense for him to use outlaws instead of spearmen. Especially since all the other three evil lords (Hawk, Bull & Hammer) also all use outlaws.

    • How to change your Lord in Multiplayer?

      Hello, I'm a new member to the forum and I'm a huge fan of Stronghold 2. I would love to know if there's a way to change your Lord for multiplayer purposes. I use version 1.4.1 and through "GameRanger" I play with my friends. However I was wondering if there's a way to change my Lord to another Lord, for example The.Hawk. Lady Seren, etc... Is that possible? ?(I know it's possible for single player). Would it work in multiplayer? Will other players see me as "The.Hawk" or any other Lord I change

    • How to edit crusader.cfg and change the resolution for example?

      Hi! The question says everything I think. I would like to see how this could be done, as a lot of players have this problem. Crusader HD, or Stronghold HD, is installed and the game chooses some high resolution which cannot be displayed, and because of this they get message "Out of range" or they simply get the black screen while they can hear the music and everything. I tried opening the file using notepad++, but I had no luck, I only saw some random characters, and lots of some "null"'s in bla

    • Change in moderation of downloads

      Based on a lot of recent submitted maps, we are changing the way they are assessed before being approved. Now somewhat similar to driving tests, the maps will be assessed using majors and minors. Three minors create a major and one major means the map fails. We are hoping by releasing the list of how the maps are assessed, it may help a few more to make the pass mark, they are shown below:   Majors   Whether the file is related squareness of the map. Example Whether the map works Unfinished/
