That's right! Only with difference that the dragon will be red, and I want to use golden color somehow. It's pretty easy to create a Stronghold 2 crest. If you need a program to do that, Gimp is free and pretty good program.

No need for that either! The winner could save the screenshot of his victory screen... I'm not sure how that works at Stronghold 2, but it is possible for Stronghold Crusader. One could save the scores screen, and there one could easily see when did each player die. :) I mean, I'm not sure if such a screen exists in Stronghold 2, and if it possible to save a screenshot of it... If not, your can save the screenshot of your troops killing the enemy. But what is the most relevant is what other participants say. :)

Thanks, I'll need that a lot! :D You guys have fun! :)

I'm glad you like it as well @fellowslothb! I do have one idea, guys, and I will ask you for your opinion! What I want to do is to create universal Stronghold Nation crest pattern for Stronghold 2! What I think I should use is the black dragon and golden color, but this crest should also include color of the player. For example, I could make the black dragon in golden square or golden circle, so if you're player 1, your knight and swordsmen would have red shields with golden circle and the black dragon inside of it. Instead of circle, I could try making the black dragon inside golden shield, or I could also use any kind of coloring offered by Stronghold 2 default crests (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Firefly Studios\Stronghold 2\crests\red). Right now I got feeling that, it would be the most interesting to use eight different coloring schemes. I hope this would be really interesting for our Stronghold 2 events, but those would be interesting for skirmish games as well!

I am sorry I will have to disappoint you once again. I will not be able to join today as well. Damn, that exam... :/ I hope I'll finish with that until next weekend.

That sounds great! :)

You're welcome. I did come to the same idea, and I think that the shield we chose for our favicon should be our crest? It's a golden shield with black dragon.

Thanks you both, I see I got one more vote in last seconds. :)

Thanks both, and congratulations, Mathew! :)

Sure, that shall be no problem. :)

That does sound interesting, but I am worried about one thing there... I am sure that all of us here are fair players, and that we play for fun here, but I am worried how would that effect some of us. Those prizes can sometimes also bring some negative effects, and while some would come playing for fun, some could come to play for winning. We all play to win, of course, but when that becomes the only goal, we rick to ruin the fun. ADDITION: For example, I would like to have a tag "Stronghold Crusader champion", but we should be playing for fun, not for prizes. Maybe I'm wrong, and I could be just worried too much.

I will have to study (a lot), but if I get tired, I would come to relax my mind a little. :)

I have my talents. :)

Since Duke is the latest one at this moment, I think that Grand Duke, Regent, Prince, King and Emperor... Something like that. Oh, by the way, is there going to be another contest, but in Stronghold 1 or Stronghold Crusader with a custom title as a prize? :) I do have one in my mind, but I don't want to tell you yet. :p If the answer is no, then I would tell. :)

Great, I'm happy to hear that! :)

In that case, you can tell that this is not the final version of the map. After the final version is submitted and accepted, you can share the link to your map. I look forward to play it.

The map looks great! Although I think you could add some trees on those hills and mountains, and some more near rivers. It will also look more natural that way. :) ADDITION: Also, I think you should remove the uploaded map from the attachment. If you consider the map to be finished, you should upload the map to downloads section - and after that, you can share the link to the file in the heading post. This way your statistics about your map would look different - you will have more downloads, and it is more likely for you to get some comments there. Besides that, you wouldn't upload the same file twice to this server. :) Besides that, it's nothing wrong if you make us wait just a little time for your map. ;)

I agree with you, you did the right thing. After all, when someone starts a game with cheater, that game is being ruined, and time spent in that game being wasted, and no one would have fun (except the cheater - and that is MAYBE). Also, some people come online not having too much free time to start several multiplayer games in a day...

Oh, you may like to see how my first phone looked like. :D I don't remember what model it was, but I think it was this one. Speaking about your old phone, I agree - it was too basic (I mean, I guess that, when you bought a new one, it was not only about being cool :) ). It's a nice phone for someone using his phone only for SMS's and calls, but it has low memory, and I think it cannot be connected to computer.

I'd also like to add - if someone want some help, and he feels need to share his save file with us, he can do that by sharing it with us as an attachment with his message. I think that save files should be submitted there only if the uploader believes that it could be interesting or useful to someone.

If you ask me - that Vetka's map looks pretty interesting. We should play it some time. :) Those two maps we mentioned right now cannot be compared in fact. Vetka's map was created to be unbalanced, and it is interesting because of that! On the other side, Four Corners map is for a multiplayer game when we want to play a balanced map. :)

You are cruel... :D Just kidding - no one asked him to cheat. :)

I think it's better the sequence to be rising just the way it is. That is a good sequence, and it should be continued the way you suggested.

Hi, I'm not able to play this evening, and I think it will be the same tomorrow, but I wanted to ask. Could we play Four Corners map sometime? I saw that map after Chris mentioned it at Heaven Games, and I think it is a nice map for multiplayer. I like how the keep is not right next to the edge of the map, and how estates are not too large, and I also like the fact that not all estates have all resources - especially those estates with castles, there's no stone and iron in them. I know it's easier to play on a map with huge estates, as one could build plenty of economy buildings there, but I could compare with those those high resource Stronghold Crusader maps. It is more interesting when you cannot build too many quarries, iron mines, etc - then it's not just spamming economy or whatever. Then running the economy becomes more interesting. :) Also - we do not need ALL of those buildings that would bring us gold or honor. If we have less space in our estate, we would have to choose what to build - we would have to choose our priorities! Also, in those maps we would be able to see how would players fight! They wouldn't be able to get so much honor, and perhaps some would choose not to use knight, and to train more swordsmen, or some other cheaper units... This is the minimap. This variant of the map has a castle estate in the middle, while there is also one other variant of the map in which this middle estate is only a village estate.

That's right, I am a proud owner of Nokia Asha 202 - it's Symbian (Series 40) OS, and Nokia Xpress browser. Sometimes I also use Opera Mini. :) Off topic, it's a great phone, although it is one of those cheap ones, but what I like about it is the fact that it's touch and type phone. I'd love it if there were more phones like that. :)
