  1. I have the gold version, and in my opinion, it's pretty good - though I haven't played it much. It could do with polishing up slightly, and a skirmish mode would be nice - but CivCity Rome doesn't have one either. It isn't the kind of game you can constantly play, but it is worth the money you pay for it, just.
  2. You can get GameRanger here: http://www.gameranger.com/download/ It's fairly straight forward to use, if you can tell me your gameranger ID I'll add you as a friend - that way it will be easier to setup games.
  3. The map wouldn't be a problem, but it would be easier if you could upgrade your version for simplicity so we all have the same version - it stops bugs appearing (like for example when I modified my game and my stockpile had a second floor viewable by all players :) ) I haven't tried playing SH2 with different versions now that multiplayer is on GameRanger, but it may work. You can find the patch updates here in case you decide to update: http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/25-patch-1-4-update/ http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/12-patch-1-4-1-update/ How about we keep it for the same time, at 6pm UK time, 7pm Novi Sad & 9 AM for you?
  4. If there's a time which works better for you let us know and I'll see if we can re-arrange the game for then (or closer to that time) How about we try out the Arden map then? - The only issue is that there would be a maximum of three (I think) players on the map.
  5. OK, just making sure - you can never be too careful from sites you've never heard of before ;) As long as it's legal that's fine.
  6. Right, I just got a bit suspicious by the link containing "cd key". But you can guarantee that that game is a legal copy?
  7. So this is some kind of keygen/pirated copy or serial key for the game?
  8. We are launching a new award: the most active member of the month! This month, the winner has to be EaglePrince - he's nearly spent more time here than me! And for our Member of the Month, I am proud to announce it to our newest downloads contributor, Steinhardt! Congratulations to both of you, and keep up the great work! You really are making this site a great place to be :D
  9. For a very quick map it's very good, loads better than some of the built in ones :) In fact, that's better than some of mine and I have to spend several hours on them.
  10. Sounds like a plan :) If you wouldn't mind, that sounds amazing - and if it's a three or four player it could be good to play with when we have only a few players per map.
  11. This is the one that we use most of the time in multiplayer as it's probably the best suited map (in my opinion). I haven't come across a map that's as good for playing multiplayer - but I haven't tried Lord Vetka's Arden map yet.
  12. Unfortunately not, there is no auto save. Something I've wished for a long time was there but isn't. :( Check out @bradley0095's file paths and passages - we'll be playing that so that may fit your needs :)
  13. 18:00 In London. But... You're right, it is a bit unfair of me doing that. When would be best for you two to play?
  14. The time is 6 PM (and the password shn) - by the second do you mean the second of July or the second game? The games are on the first and third :)
  15. OK then, we'll continue the same time :)
  16. Last month, the winner was Charles of Tours for our "kingdoms and empires of medieval Europe and the Middle East" themed contest. Charles of Tours has deliberated upon the following theme: Coat of Arms / Crest / or other decorative Heraldry He clarified with: Oh, and if you are considering joining in, it wouldn't hurt to drop in a note so I hurry along those "last minute" sort of people! :) The contest will run until the 20th of July, and after this date the voting will begin. But do remember... the longer you have your signature posted, the more people will notice it! Basic Rules: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/94-announcing-signature-of-the-month/ Good luck! ** Voting ** Lord_Chris Charles of Tours
  17. Ah, I thought it seemed too simple :) Could you wait about half an hour? - I'll be busy until about then. If not don't worry, you two start and have fun. :) So what time is it where you are now then?
  18. I can't play 1.3, my game crashes. I can only play 1.2 at the moment, but I've bought another one and I'm awaiting it's arrival. I'll try playing with that, but it's likely to not work or go slow like last time. I'll leave it up to EaglePrince as to what we should do, it's his event :)
  19. It's obviously just a specific error it's encountering in a set place. The only way I think you'll solve it is getting a replacement.
  20. That file is on the disk so I'm confused as to why that would spring an error on one PC but not the other, despite how old it is.
  21. I think it could be OS related, but an OS problem wouldn't trigger a IS_STRING_NOT_DEFINED error by itself. That's to do with the actual data on the disk.
  22. If he upgraded a lot, then it sounds like it's newer operating systems that's the problem. You'll have to tell me how it's done in the end, this is really making me think - I have no idea how it could be done.
  23. Unfortunately it's not as simple as just copying files - I believe it modifies (or adds values into) regedit so by just copying files it wouldn't work - though I may be wrong. ** EDIT ** There's a thought - is regedit disabled?
  24. It's certainly very puzzling, but you'd be best contacting take 2. Hope you get it sorted in the end :)
