  1. A splendid submission indeed, and just in time as well! :) What image editing software do you use?
  2. Advertising is not allowed, sorry. Closing. If you have any questions on the 'why' feel free to shoot me a PM.
  3. ** Match continues Tomorrow @ 6PM UK time **
  4. Yes, I am. Tell you what, you host it. I'll end this one and you host it with the same details
  5. Ok, I'll re-create the room for it in gameranger
  6. Lobby is now up in GameRanger with the usual game username & "shn" as the password.
  7. Ok, glad to hear :) There should be a spanish person from gameranger as well, he sent me a PM last night asking about it. We'll play three man's land again, it's got loads of space for building.
  8. Updated title and game to Stronghold 2 in main post.
  9. Hmm. It's certainly very detailed, the terrain is perfect, fairly balanced, it's enclosed which is good, has pitch which I like to use, however: there isn't much building space. I played with Sir William, and he couldn't get his castle built properly due to the lack of space. To think you'd have to build a castle and get a production out of that small space makes it fairly hard. I think if there's just the two of us still, the best one would be 3 man's land. It's got a lot of estates, big building space for a bigger castle, you can afford to spread things out a bit and contains a couple of choke points as well.
  10. Ok, we'll play Arden today & 3 man's land tomorrow. Maybe Lord Vetka will join us too, if he's got his 1.4.1 installed?
  11. What map should we play? I have a couple in mind: http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/119-arden/ http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/76-paths-and-passages/ http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/118-3-mans-land/
  12. At the moment, we'll just take it that Stronghold 2 is going ahead for both days. If anyone posts in the meantime then we'll change one to Legends if necessary and the 17th isn't enough.
  13. EaglePrince is correct. It's far better having a hard map than it being too easy.
  14. You could be a prince, you could be a king, a Warlord, or anything you like! :)
  15. A contest to enter - great, I'll be joining. I take it you'll be wanting a link to the file ;) http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/file/121-a-chefs-quest/
  16. OK then, I'll change one to SH2, but I'll see which days Bradley can come too first. Hope he can come, I'll have to crush him on SHL like he did with me on SH2 :) Well, I've got a new copy, but it won't install on Windows 8 so I'll have to see if I can install in on my windows 7 machine and copy the files across when I have time.
  17. My image has been uploaded and is now in my signature.
  18. Stronghold Legends multiplayer again!
  19. Whoops, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I completely forgot to enable the site again. You can now upload your map, sorry for any inconvenience :) Looking forward to seeing it, that looks really good!
  20. Thread merged with "Stronghold Europe" in Site Questions and Support. I think that at the moment, considering some of our download categories are practically empty (most in some sections) we should wait until we get more files, and more widely spread before we make any decisions such as creating more categories that may just remain empty or nearly empty - especially since the forum has so far had no turnout. In the meantime, you should upload any stronghold Europe files under another category for crusader, but make sure to type that it is for stronghold Europe. If we get about twenty to thirty files that are worth a category of it's own, I'll consider it then.
  21. That is one thing I debated about, and many of the ranks are taken from Stronghold 2. Some others were also taken from these pages (initially where the peasant came from) : http://www.elftown.com/_medieval%20ranks http://www.medieval-spell.com/Medieval-Army.html I tell you what, time for a contest: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/183-help-choose-new-user-group-ranks/ :)
  22. We are considering changing the user titles on the site, and you have a chance to help! All you need to do is post below with the title you think a user group should get (or the amount of posts that a user should post to get that title) and you could have some ranks named as yours! Example: Knight Bachelor [currently knight] Knight Errant [64 posts] Good luck! The contest will take place until the 20th July, after which the management team will deliberate upon the entries and the new ranks will be revealed! Choose the amount of user groups or ranks you would like - good luck :)
  23. To save any confusion of user group colours, we are slightly changing the group colours. The staff colours are still the same - Administrators are red, global moderators are dark blue, moderators are green with supporters as pink and former staff as cyan. The same goes for new members, they will remain dark green when registering. But for users who are above the rank of a Peasant (new member) they will remain a standard colour which will stop any confusion. To this rule, there are two exceptions: The "Dukes" user group will remain gold, and the "Royal Guard" (contributors) will remain purple.
  24. No that wouldn't work as the game installs to your hard drive and therefore, for everyone. You can choose whether individual users can use that application, but it will be installed for all.
  25. That isn't currently an option, and I don't really see it as something that is essential - plus I don't really think it would look very good. The divider would still be in the same place and it would look odd. To be honest, I think it's probably harder to do than it's worth.
