1. Please do not duplicate post. You have already posted the exact same message in the Stronghold 2 section. While we fully understand if you have the same question on multiple games, and would like to receive an answer for all of them, make a single topic in one of our forums and we will answer all questions there.
2. Hi @baroniliya, You put the downloaded maps into your My Documents/Stronghold 2/maps folder. The downloaded files should have an s2m extension for Stronghold 2. We currently don't have an article on this, so thank you for your input, I will write one explaining this for new users. :)
3. This is a great idea! Unfortunately my map making skills in the new Crusader 2 editor are not brilliant, and I don't have a lot of time on my hands to do this kind of thing (still have an unfinished map from when the game first came out) but I wish the project all the best and we will support it in whatever way we can.
4. There will be some great new competitions coming along this year, so watch this space. :)
5. You can find a full list of all winners of the 52 Week of Stronghold Challenges here: http://www.stronghold-nation.com/community/52-weeks-of-stronghold-winners/ You can also find the announcement post here: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/842-52-weeks-of-stronghold-winners/
6. I am delighted that StrongholdNation has hosted the 52 Weeks of Stronghold set of challenges over the last year, Stronghold's biggest ever competition, in which we partnered with Firefly Studios. It's been an amazing time for the forum, Firefly and has increased attention and excitement around the series. Today it's time to announce the final winners of 52 Weeks of Stronghold, the results of which are available here. I am very pleased to announce that our five winners are as follows. 1st Place with an impressive 15 points - @Floki 2nd Place with 12 points, and only one win behind - @Nigel 3rd Place with 9 points - @EaglePrince 4th Place with 9 points - @Tokamaps 5th Place with 3 points - @Fail Session 6th Place with 3 points - @Mathew Steel 7th Place with 3 points - @Strife 8th Place with 3 points - @Andreas9541 Note: In the case of the scores of and EaglePrince, because they both have the same number of wins a random database query decided their positions in the leader board above. The deciding week was eventually week #30, where EaglePrince] won. In the case of everyone else, a random database query was also used which determined who came 5th in the leader board. This process was repeated with the previous winner removed until no single user was left. The deciding week numbers for this process were as follows: 5th place - Week #21 6th place - Week #42 7th place - Week #23 8th place - Week #46 To those users who came 1st to 5th, congratulations - feel free to PM me at any time and you can claim your prize - every single game in the Stronghold series, Space Colony, the Stronghold Kingdoms starter pack and all the Stronghold Crusader 2 DLC. Please note that you have a total of six weeks to claim your prize from today. If unclaimed after four weeks, I will email you individually. If after those further two weeks you do not respond, your prize will be provided to the next user on the list. We do not want to lose all of the precious data in the 52 Weeks of Stronghold forum, so from today that forum will now be archived, so that you can continue to look back on your victories, and try challenges again at a later date. But regardless of where you came on the leader board, you are still a winner. You still have taken on valuable skills and talents during this process, and shown off what you can do to the whole world ? and everyone who has taken part should be commended for doing so. I'd very much like to congratulate you for taking part in the largest ever Stronghold competition in history - you have made history. On behalf of the whole team here at StrongholdNation, I'd like to wish you all the very best for 2017, and thank you once again, for taking part.

14. Great to hear! I'm looking forward to it. :)
15. A custom campaign that could "replace" the evil campaign, but all the missions are on the same map, if that makes sense. :) As for the setting, that's up to you! As long as it's suitable for the Evil Campaign, you can do anything you'd like!
16. Your challenge is: Make an alternate evil campaign for Stronghold Legends on the same map. It must have a minimum of 3 missions and plenty of action! 17. This map is fantastic! It is quite possibly the best skirmish map I've ever seen in Stronghold Crusader 2. From the marvellously detailed terrain to the great choke points on the map, this map is everything you could ever want and more! Firstly, I'll start with the terrain. This was fantastic, the amount of detail put into it was amazing. The waterfalls looked very impressive and all were placed exceptionally well. The rivers and streams looked very natural and were well placed, and these not only looked good, but separated the different land areas very well. The stone statues and ruins .etc which were placed really helped to lift the environment and add something extra to it, there were just enough to make it look effective but not too many so that it looks too much. And they were scattered over the place to really help with this and make it so much better. The cliffs on the map and hills were extremely effective because they created some excellent choke points around the map in various locations that makes it particularly good. The landscape was especially suited to expansion, and there was a lot of space for this which again, advanced the map to a whole new level. Each player on the map had a fantastic amount of space to build up a settlement and there was a great amount of space around for mini-skirmishes. I actually think this would be a great multiplayer map for all of these reasons. It's a fantastic map, and it's my honour to award you with three points. Congratulations!
18. Must have somehow missed this, not sure how .... is this still happening now?
19. That's fantastic @Andreas9541! If you don't manage to get it all finished on time, it's still ok for you to upload it. :)
20. That the players can expand easily from their own castle into places into the map, that e.g. defence structures can be placed, that the boundaries of each estate are wide enough that space should never be a problem, especially for defence.
21. Your challenge for this week is: Make a skirmish map in the Stronghold Crusader 2 editor named "The Dangerous Wilds". The map should have many tributaries, build a landscape that can be expanded into by the will of players, design high mountains, make glorious ruins. Make the map divided into several areas to explore, and expand! Useful resources http://www.stronghold-nation.com/article/225-stronghold-3-editor-overview Note: Your entry must be attached to this topic by Midnight on Saturday to be counted in this challenge (19/11/16 23:59). 22. I've found a few Freebuild maps at this link, do let me know if you like any and I'll upload them here as well.
23. Your challenge is: Reconstruct Mystra Castle, Greece in the Stronghold 1 editor Information: Involves building structure on raised position. Few Trees and ample bushes. Map should be set ay 200x200 size to increase difficulty with regards to building area. Useful resources Building Difficulty: 4 (Out of possible 10) Landscape Difficulty: 8 (Out of possible 10) http://www.stronghold-nation.com/article/235-stronghold-1-editor-overview Note: Your entry must be attached to this topic by Midnight on Saturday to be counted in this challenge (12/11/16 23:59). If no entry is attached (via .zip. then your entry will not be counted! The results will be revealed on Sunday. Good luck everyone!
24. Your challenge for this week is: Design a new interface menu for Stronghold Legends. The colour scheme, win/lose screens should be different and visually enhanced. Upload to our gallery when completed. The menu images are located within the interface folder. Change them in any way you like, try to make them exciting! As we have no tutorials for this week's challenge, if you encounter any problems, please let us know in the Stronghold Legends forum. Note: Your entry must be attached to this topic by Midnight on Saturday to be counted in this challenge (5/11/16 23:59). If no entry is attached (via .zip. then your entry will not be counted!
