Philip II (Spain), died today. Noted for starting Spain's “Golden Age”, Philip saw Spanish Colonies established throughout the known World (as far as The Philippine Islands in The Pacific Ocean – also named for him). The term “The Empire on which The Sun Never Sets” was coined during his reign. Philip was also responsible for The Spanish Armada (to be used against England for it's invasion). This event failed. He died at 71.
The Wild Boar (or Pig), was a respected image. Hunters knew them to be “Fierce and Unyielding” Prey. The first “known” use of The Boar was by King Richard III. They appear in a “natural appearance” but are also slightly “exaggerated”.
