USS ''Virginia'' (Submarine)

The USS ''Virginia'' is the namesake of Her Class of Nuclear Cruise Missile Attack Submarines, currently deployed with The US Navy. She is also part of The US Nuclear Deterrent Protocol. ''Virginia'' was also the first Submarine completely designed by Computer. She was launched in 2003. ''Virginia'' displaces 7.800-tons and is 377-feet in length. Her Beam is 35-feet. ''Virginia'' supports a Crew of 135 Officers and Men. Power is provided by Nuclear Reactor with a Electric Diesel Back-up Engine. She can achieve a surface speed of 45-mph and can reach a maximum depth of 800-feet. Her Armament includes (4) 21-inch Torpedoes and (12) Vertical Launch BGM-109 ''Tomahawk'' Cruise Missiles, capable of between 5 and 150-KTs each.
