The US Model 1895 Winchester Model 1895 Rifle was a popular export Military Rifle. Over 300,000 were marketed to The Imperial Russian Army. 10,000 additional Models were also produced for use by The US Navy between 1895 and 1899 (actively). The Rifle saw some wartime service during The Spanish-American War. Weighing 8-lbs, The Model 1895 was 32-inches long and was hand operated, bolt action. It fired the 6m round from a (10) round clip. Maximum effective range was rated at 800-yards. This round would prove unpopular with The US Navy, who discontinued The Rifle after 1900. Some were still found in use as late as 1920 as a Shipyard Security weapon.
