The ''Cyclone''-Class of American Military Vessels is a Coastal Patrol Boat, first introduced to The US Navy at the end of The Cold War (1991). The Boats are used for Coastal Protection and Interdiction duties. Currently, there are (13) such ''Cyclone''-Class Vessels deployed. The Class is also used by US Special Operation Forces, and be found mostly on deployment to The Middle East.

 

The Boats are 180-feet in length with a Beam of 25-feet. They consist of .05-inches of armor plating. Power is provided by (4) Diesel Engines and can achieve 40-mph. Crew compliment is 28 Officers and Men. Weapons deployed are (2) 25mm Auto-Cannon, (2) .50 Caliber Machine Guns, (2) 40mm Grnade Launchers and (8) Surface to Air Missile packages (various).
