An Ancient Egyptian Mythology tale relating to Adultery and revenge – ''Ubaoner'' was a powerful Court Magician, whose wife was unfaithful to Him with (of all things) – a Commoner. A ''River Spirit'' came to Ubaoner in the form of a Crocodile. Telling Him of what it had ''seen'', the Magician created another Crocodile from enchanted wax. Sending His creation to The Nile, it ate the Commoner. His wife was put to death under orders from The Pharaoh. Ubaoner is seen as an early example of a ''cautionary tale''.
