Related to a series of similar imagery with The Eye of Wadjet and Eye of Ra, The Eye of Horus was much different. Frequently made into Necklaces and Pennants, The Eye of Horus was often Dark Blue or Green (seen as a Spiritual Color). Gold (used in the body of The Eye was related to The Afterlife. The Eye of Horus was also pained on The Bow of Ships by Ancient Egyptian Sailors for Good Luck as well. The Tear Drop (which is often depicted as a series of twin extensions from the bottom of The Eye), is sometimes referred to as The Mirror Eye and is related to the biology of a real Falcon's Eye.
