Another Ancient Egyptian (New Kingdom) Funerary Text, ''The Book of Caverns'' (a companion to ''The Book of The Dead'' and ''The Book of Gates''), told in detail – of how ''Ra'' (The Creator), traveled to The Underworld to (6) Caverns. Akin to the later concept in many Cultures of Hell, Ra ''visited'' The Caverns on occasion to ''comfort'' those who failed in their ''Test'' for Duat (Paradise) and to give brief repast to those ''suffering'' in The Lake of Fire. Written only on the interior of a deceased Pharaoh's Tomb by Scribal Priests, the first such example appears in The Tomb of Ramesses IV (12th Century BC).
