The Egyptian Goddess Tayt was given the attribute of Weaving skills, by The People of Ancient Egypt. She was also (later) associated with Writing (Scribes) and still later – Mummification (Linen). She was invoked (honored), by Textile Workers and Sellers as far back as the 16th Century BC. Tayt was portrayed in Temple Art as a Female working a Loom.
