A ‘’Lower Egyptian’’ Dynastic Deity dating to 1,000 BC – ‘’Tatenen’’ was an early primordial Creation God, who was seen as the personification of Earth. Responsible for chasing away The Serpent Apep, Tatenen would by the 19th Dynasty (1,189 BC), be merged into the well known Deity, ‘’Ptah’’.
