''Stinger''

The 3rd Gate of The Egyptian Underworld was seen by Ancient Egyptian’s as being an actual God in itself. When personified, if was another Snake-like Being called ‘’Stinger’’. ‘’She’’ watched over The ‘’Lake of Life’’, from which the waters were said to bring immortality. Naturally, such a commodity would have been highly sought after by Souls, especially those who would not pass judgment.  Stinger’s ‘’strike’’ (bite) was such that a Soul was instantly destroyed (sent into nothingness).
