The Belief by Ancient Egyptians regarding The Afterlife (Underworld), is complex and varied (depending on The Era of Belief). Traditionally, They believed that all Souls needed to pass thru a series of Gates towards final Judgment. But each Gate was guarded by a particular Deity, each with His or Her own cadre of Demonic Beasts. (12) such ‘’Portals’’ needed to be traversed – each with their own form of judgment. The First such Gate was known as ‘’Perception’’ and was guarded by ‘’Sia’’. Sia is only available to The God Ra (and certain Pharonic Souls. Sia is stationed on the prow of Ra’s Solar Barque. He uses ‘’snake creatures’’ to ensure that ONLY Ra can board The Boat, and will destroy anyone NOT of Royal Blood from using or trying to ‘’sneak away’’ on The Barque.
