Long associated with “Evil”, The Serpent was used to denote “Cunning” and “Deadliness” with regards to Military Achievements. Popular in Italy as a Charge (seldom used as a Supporter), The Serpent is always portrayed in it's natural coloring. Some of it's earliest appearances in Arms was in the 7th Century.
