Another “ancient” Heraldic Beast, The Phoenix is found in Arms going back centuries before The Middle Ages. Shown in various color patterns, The Phoenix is a bird (according to Myth), that when burnt to ash – will rise whole from them. Symbolizing a “rebirth”, it's attributes were many. The use of the Beast was popular in the 15th Century.
