  This Egyptian Goddess was the personification of the Opening of Heaven (or The Vault). She is depicted in human form (often with wings). She always has her arms outstretched or reaching for Heaven. Nut was exchanged sometimes with the Goddess, Hathor. She is also associated with the Egyptian concept of Resurrection. Nut was a constant figure from the 17th to 28th Dynasties.
