Nemty

Nemty was an Ancient Egyptian Deity from 2,800 BC, and while much of His Cult and corresponding abilities are still unknown – He is thought to be related to role as Ferryman to The Underworld. Much like the later ''Charon'' of The River Styx, Nemty conveyed Souls to their Judgment in The Underworld. Taking the Hybrid form of a Human Man with the Head of The Hawk (relating to Horus). His Legend states that while he was to remain ''impartial'' in His duties – He deviated once, and as punishment, had His toes cut off. This was relating to His ''Avian'' attributes, so He would never be able to ''perch'' as such He is always portrayed as ''standing''.
