 This Ancient Egyptian Goddess is first seen around 1,700 B.C. Considered to be the Mother of The Gods of Thebes , Mut occupied an important function in daily religious life. Originally depicted in human form , she is augmented with twin Horns . Later, she would be portrayed with the Head of a Lioness. Her name means Mother.
