Originally a Goddess worshiped in Ancient Nubia (Africa), Menhit was later adopted by Ancient Egypt's Lower Kingdom (3,500 BC). Her name translates to ''She Who Massacres'' – with this relating to her imagery of both Human and Lioness. Menhit was invoked during War for protection. Other imagery associated with Menhit was War Arrows set aflame.
