Insignia (in relations to a Coat of Arms), are devices (symbols and images) – used to mark achievements made and presented to Nobility. These are placed in various locations on a Coat of Arms or Crest. Identifiers related to Orders of Chivalry must have their “Motto” attached. Certain military achievements can also be incorporated in The Arms.
