The ''Hemsut'' is another physical manifestation of The Ancient Egyptian theory of The Ka (or One's immortal Soul/Spirit). She is normally portrayed as a Human Female with a Shield and Crossed Arrows. This is given for Her protection of The Ka, once it has left a physical body and accompanies it to The Afterlife. Considered a Goddess, Hemsut is also sometimes associated with Fate and it's application to both The Living and The Dead.
