Dating to 2,100 BC – ''Hemen'' was a form of ''Falcon-God'' (similar but not related to Horus). He was the specific Patron God of The City of Djerty or El-Tod. Near Luxor, many of it's Residents were involved in Funerary Art and production of other related items. Several well known Royal Embalmers claimed Djerty as their Home, and as such – invoked Hemen to protect The City from harm.
