Relating to The Ancient Egyptian Goddess and Patron of Fish – ''Hatmehit'' maintained Life in The Nile, and was responsible for providing such to Man. Man was expected to honor Hetmehit, in order to ensure that an unending supply of such food would be available. Her Cult was popular in Lower Egypt.
