French Order of St. Michael

A defunct Order founded in France in 1469, it was conferred on Nobility considered trustworthly to their Monarch. The Badge of The Order was a pair of Shields with an image of St. Michael The Archangel. Little is known of The Order other than they seem to cease to exist around 1700.
