Known as “The Kings Colors”, The Forester Flag was carried by an American Loyalist Militia (commanded by Major Samuel Forster). The Unit was attacked just days after the Battle of Lexington (1775) – and these Colors were taken in battle. A Maroon colored Field in it's entirety, in the upper left Canton was 6 White Stripes. The significance of the striping is lost to history.
