Designed around the 11th/12th Century, The Chichak was an attempt to create “full” head and neck protection for it's Wearers. Constructed on 3 component pieces of bronze, the dome was conical shaped. A small Visor Ridge was added with an extension that protected the forehead of the exposed face. An Enclosed Rear and Side series of Plates covered the remainder of the head. Finally, an attached Cowl covered the entirety of the neck, Often highly decorated, The Chichak was popular with several Imperial Dynastic Armies.
