The Australian Bren Gun Carrier was a British produced weapons carrier used mostly by Commonwealth National Armies. Over 113,000 Production Models were deployed. The Bren Gun was a primary Medium to large Caliber Automatic Weapon (Machine Gun), used against Enemy Infantry Formations. Considered a Light Gun Carrier, it was manufactured by The Vickers-Armstrong Company. The reliable and long serving weapons system would serve in both the British, Commonwealth and several other National Armies until 1967.
