''Bast''

Also known as ''Bastet'' – Bast was an Ancient Egyptian Goddess worshiped around 2,800 BC. Related to Fertility (Pregnancy and Children), and later to The Arts and even Warfare – Bast was portrayed as a hybrid being (Half-Human with the Head of a Cat). The Feline was seen as a sacred beast. Bast was also related to the Egyptian imagery of The Ankh and Solar Disk.
