Or simply The Blowgun. These simple but effective weapons were deployed by some Aztec Melee Units (although it has been debated that they were regulated to Hunting weapons). Normally made of a long (3 to 4 foot hollow wooden tube), small sharpened wood and steel Darts (with flattened ends), were loaded into the Blowgun. The User would release a gush of air and thus propel the Dart forward (at rather great distances and at speed). Darts were dipped (or coated) in the secretions of various Tree Frogs (which held a form of Neurotoxin). Incapacitated, a fresh Prisoner could be then offered as a sacrifice to The Gods.
