Dating to 2,700 BC – Ancient Egypt’s God known as ‘’Ash’’ was charged with being the Protector of Oasis’. These small eco-systems were essential in The Desert. Commonly venerated after One ‘’refreshed Themselves’’ after using (or finding) and Oasis. He was shown in Art with various forms, such as a Vulture, Snake and Hawk. Ash is thought to be a form of The God, ‘’Set’’, and while separate – is often confused with the same.
