Anubis

Seen as the Ancient Egyptian God of Cemeteries and Embalming, it was Anubis who first ''preserved'' The ''body'' of The God Osiris, and helped weigh his heart. He is depicted as having a Human body and the face of a Black Jackal. It is also Anubis who ultimately gives his secrets to Funeral Priests. He is often incorrectly cast as Guardian of The Underworld . This was partly because it was often Anubis who would curse anyone who disturbed a Royal Tomb or Cemetery (thus leading to many GREAT Mummy Movies!)
