Dating to the 14th Century DC in ancient Egypt ''Anhur'' was seen as a ''God of War''. The Anciewnt Greeks also identified Him with ''Ares''. Shown in Human Form in Art, Anhur was noted for His multi-plumed Crown. Later, Anhur's name was ''changed'' to Shu and was seen as a Son of The Great God Ra. In this form, Hen was called ''Sky Bearer''. The Pharaohs made offering to Anhur both before and after battles often staging elaborate ''mock battles'' dedicated in His honor.
