As we have seen with the term ''Duat'' (being The Ancient Egyptian Afterlife, both Paradise and Hades as it were), The Amduat was a form of Funerary Text, often written inside the walls of a Pharaoh's Tomb. The Amduat was for ''His Eyes Only'', and those who ''wrote it'' could not ''disclose it'' (Funerary Scribal Priests). The Amduat (while never copied into a book), was ''orally learned and written''. It told the ''story'' of how Ra (The Supreme God and Creator), makes His ''nightly journey'' thru The Heavens (from night to day). It is in this that a deceased Pharaoh too – makes His ''journey'' (as part of of Ra).
