When The Serpent had His eyes ‘’open’’, The Earth remained in daylight. When he ‘’closed’’ His eyes – the opposite – darkness would follow. The Zhuyin needs only to consume ‘’air and water’’ (which it sucks into it’s mouth from the air) – to survive. It will exist until the very ‘’end of things’’, it is written. When Zhuyin ‘’dies’’- so to will The Earth.
