''Zana''

 An old Romanian myth, The Zana are a race of supernatural Fairy creatures (said to live in mountain forests). They will select the soul of a child while it is still developing within it's Mother. The Zana will give their gift of music, dance, intellect etc to the child. They also serve as Guardian Angels , protecting certain people (mostly women). They are described as mostly a female race and are very beautiful (if seen).
