 These were said to Native to Wales. Extremely territorial, The Yr Afanc lived in Regional Lakes. They would kill anyone or anything entering their territory. Sand to be a cross between a Beaver and a Crocodile, they had long sharp teeth. They were listed in many Medieval Bestiaries.
