From Australia, come the Legend of The Yowie. Yowie is possibly part of the American Sasquatch and Himalayan Yeti Family. Described as a humanoid-primate like creature, Yowie was first report in Australia's Outback Country around 1795. Local Natives have claimed to interact with Yowie for many centuries. The name Yowie (or Yahoo), is Aboriginal. European Explorers have launched countless expeditions over the years in an attempt to prove Yowie's existence. Large 12 to 15-inch footprints, fur and even skin have been recovered (and tested to a point of inconclusiveness). Yowie is said to be between 6 and 12 feet tall. It is normally reported with black full-body fur (although Brown and Dark Gray have been seen as well). Some claim that Yowie has 6 to 8 toes. While Yowie's try to avoid human contact, it is said that if provoked they can be quite aggressive and violent. There has been relative recent film and video evidence of Yowie (going back to 2000). However, unlike Bigfoot and Yeti there are scare examples. Yowie has been sighted (not hust in The Outback), but throughout Australia as a whole.
