Another Deity associated with Slavic Cultures (in particular- Poland, Serbian and Croatian Pagan Beliefs), ''Yarilo'' was a Deity personified as a ''Male/Female'' Being, linked to ''Fertility and Vegetation''. As such, Yarilo was an important part of Pagan (Regional) Beliefs in Life, Death and Rebirth – as seen in the changing of The Seasons. The only surviving Text describing The Cult of Yarilo, is from the 12th Century AD. Festivals venerating The God could be found in Neo-Paganism as lat as the 19th Century AD in parts of Russia.
