Yamata No Orochi

 From Ancient Japan comes the myth and story of The Yamata No Orochi. This was a mythical monster described as a massive Snake. Orochi supposedly has 8 heads that connect to a single frame. He was a Trickster Demon that was kicked out of Heaven. Angry, Orochi set about to destroy the Heavens and The Earth. Enter the hero Susanoo. Susanoo was a Storm God, who engaged in battle with Orochi. After much battle, Susanoo transformed Orochi into a Hoozuki (which is an 8-leaved, cherry colored flower).
