Not all strange creatures and beasts are animals. The Ya Te Veo of Africa (and apparently in South America, as well) is a Man Eating Tree . First mentioned in 1887, this Tree had tendril-like arms that capture and trap it's victims. It will them lift them up and place them into it's massive maw located at the top of the Tree. It was also said that The Ya Te Veo has leg life roots, that allow it to rip itself up from the ground and run away from danger (like fire).
