Wondjina

From The Outback of Australian comes The Wondjina. These were very tall humanoid creatures covered completely in hair or fur. Only their glowing eyes could be seen. Living in huts, they prowl the night in search of the sick. They feed on the blood of these unfortunates. It is said that when a Wondjina prepares for death, he or she will paint their image onto the cave walls of many well know sites throughout Australia. In this, they wait until a suitable rain comes and resurrects them.
