Wolhaarhond

The Wolhaarhond is a legend told on South Africa by Dutch Colonists (aka The Boars). Although based on a much older local Tribal tale, these beasts were said to be 3 times larger that a traditional Wolf. They had black fur (that glowed in some versions of the tale). Coupled with firey red eyes, they roamed the land in search of evil men to devour their souls. Other versions have The Wolhaarhond as an omen of impending death.
