The Native American Lakota Sioux Tribes have a Mythos about a Deity called The ‘’White Buffalo Calf Woman’’. She was a Spirit and Sister to The Great Wakantaka (White Buffalo) and Creator of all things. Man then was corrupted by ‘’Evil Spirits’’, who made war on His fellow Man and hunted The Great Herds of animals provided to Them, almost into extinction. White Buffalo Calf Woman came to all The Shaman of The Tribes and ‘’revealed’’ The Great Truths of ‘’Nature and Harmony’’. As long as The Sioux followed the example set by Her, They (as a People) – would thrive. Hence, when disaster or calamity such as War came, White Buffalo Calf Woman was ‘’displeased’’.
