 The legends of The Wendingo come from many Native American Tribes of The Eastern United States. It is a very old myth. Being a form of Shapeshifter, The Wendingo could assume human shape to hide or blend into human culture. Their true form is that of a decomposing part Human, part Elk-like creature. The Wendingo craves human flesh. They prefer to consume their meals in human form. In this, the first tales of cannibalism were said to have been drawn.
